Giveaway Sneak Peek

So a few weeks back, I mentioned my gel mani, and the issues I had been having. Well, I have gone back two different times, and I would say that the third time is a charm! This time I got a manicurist who really did a great job and took her time to make sure everything was right. I love how strong my nails are, and how they still feel natural. I do need to always make sure that I put SPF on my hands prior to going, as you have your nails cure under a UV light. The time spent doing this has varied person to person.

Burnout!

I started my new FT job last week, and boy am I exhausted! I doubled my hours at my day job, then had drill on the weekend which is exhausting in and of itself. Then back to another full week at work - add on finals week for teaching, and you have a 12-day stretch of working 130 hours. Needless to say, I am burnt out! Tonight we will beat the heat by having a movie night, and I am relaxing with a cold one (iced mocha of course). So far I love my new job, there is a lot more to it than I had originally thought, but it will be a good chance for personal and professional growth. Also room for wardrobe growth as I need to look pulled together 5-days a week (i.e. no yoga pants Wednesday's).

I miss being with my boys each afternoon terribly. However, they do not seem to notice it just yet, as they are having a blast with the nanny. Lucky for me I have a few short days off before I start teaching my next courses. There is definately a learning curve to all of this juggling - so I am trying to just embrace the change, and make the best of it!
